It was so much fun to get the room ready for the big surprise. Rose-petal turn down, a sparkling beverage and Sweet Escapes chocolates made the event extra special. Hidden cameras provided by Brendon captured the surprise proposal. He sent us everything he wanted to have in the room ahead of time and made arrangements with us to have everything set up.

After their day out in Utica, Brendon and Rachel returned to the Inn where he asked Rachel to marry him! She was surprised and overjoyed. Since we forgot to put long-stemmed glasses in their room (oops!), we got to see Rachel's happy face right after she said yes.

Congratulations and best wishes to this lovely young couple for a life of loving commitment. Brendon, may the wife of your youth satisfy you always. Rachel, may wisdom and kind words be the gifts you are always willing to give to your husband.
